The fine folks over at PlatinumGames know it too, and they emphasize her backside through the use of creative camera angles that seem to zero in on her ‘taint for inordinate amounts of time.

A flat-chested shinobi with a serious case of A-cup angst, Ryōbi hates anyone with big tits. The game didn’t receive overly-flattering reviews upon its release and certainly didn’t tear up the sales charts, so one has to wonder where all the fans are coming from. I can’t say for sure, but I think the game’s popularity is almost entirely due to Vanessa’s ass. At first glance, Vanessa doesn’t seem all that special. However, it’s easy to see her appeal once you see her in motion. There’s a rhythm to Vanessa’s movements, and even her attacks look like dance moves. Vanessa’s habitual dancing throughout the game is extremely seductive, and there’s almost a hypnotic quality in the way she gyrates her hips.

From the moment that Twintelle was announced as a character in ARMS, fans began to question if the game should be named for a different part of the anatomy. Her gigantic ass would make even Nicki Minaj feel inadequate, and her waist is roughly the diameter of one of her thighs. I have no idea how she manages to squeeze into her tight leather pants, and I’m surprised she was even able to find pants that fit in the first place. When Twintelle’s not lighting up the silver screen, she’s entertaining fans as a participant in the ARMS Grand Prix. I could go into detail about her fighting style, but I’m too mesmerized by her walk. As Twintelle struts around in her heels, she swings her ass in an exaggerated manner and punctuates her movements by placing her hands on her hips. It’s downright spellbinding.

Samurai Showdown is set in 18th-century Japan and focuses mostly on swordsmen, so a shapeshifting maid really stands out. Iroha is the most blatant example of fanservice the franchise has ever seen, and she’s also one of the most popular characters in the series. (She was even given her own mobile game!) When she was added to the 2019 Samurai Shodown reboot, SNK decided to put even more emphasis on her figure. Not only did they increase her bustline, but they also gave her an absolute dumptruck ass that made most fanart seem tame by comparison. An outrage mob demanded that images of Iroha’s butt be removed from social media, and the usual suspects insisted that her ass was somehow misogynistic. Put another way, her glorious backside made a lot of danger-haired harpies jealous. That’s pretty much the mark of a great ass.

Goddess of Victory: Nikke is a free-to-play mobile game from Korean developer, Shift Up. The game is set in an “apocalyptic” future where combat-ready androids called Nikkes defend the planet from mechanical aliens. Fortunately, Nikkes take the form of beautiful women who bounce every time they move. The jiggle physics are especially pronounced in Volume’s case, and her firing animations give us a great view of her fat ass. Her attire leaves nothing to the imagination, and her torn nylons are stretched to their absolute limit. When she’s not fighting aliens, Volume finds employ as a smack-talking rapper. She’s a bit of a prima donna, but I’m too mesmerized by her revealing outfits to care about her inflated ego. Her songs regularly top the charts and she’s no stranger to applause, but nothing claps harder than her own ass cheeks.

In recent years, we’ve seen a cultural shift in the gaming industry. While Americans have been chasing a modern audience that doesn’t exist, the South Koreans have decided to listen to their customers. The First Descendant launched to mixed reviews, but it’s easy to see why it rose to the top of the sales charts. The game features so many cakes that Nexon could be classified as a bakery rather than a game developer. The main reason why Hailey Scott is being singled out instead of her castmates is because I’m enthralled by her default outfit. Anyone who’s in shape can look good in a pair of booty shorts, but filling out a denim jumpsuit is a real accomplishment. I love the way her outfits crease as the renowned sniper moves around the battlefield, and it’s hard to believe that someone so hot could be associated with the cold.

Any connoisseur can tell you that size and shape alone do not a nice ass make. The way a butt moves is of great importance too, and the industry has finally realized that jiggle physics aren’t just for boobs. On that note, 2B’s ass is a triumph on every level. Her massive backside is constantly on display, her thong leotard highlights her impossible hourglass figure, and she swiggles her hips in an exaggerated fashion when she moves. The thing that impresses me the most is how her skin stretches and contracts with every move she makes. That level of detail is seldom seen, and 2B’s ass is destined to be the standard to which all other asses are judged. In an era where some developers were pushing for butt censorship, NieR:Automata actively encouraged players to look at 2B’s backside. That’s the way things ought to be.

Shift Up made a name for themselves with gacha games like Nikke, and their success could be largely attributed to attractive female characters. Rest assured, the women of Stellar Blade were made with the same design philosophy. EVE is an android who battles monstrous creatures in an effort to reclaim Earth for mankind. The planet has been ravaged and her enemies are horrific, but EVE is what dreams are made of. Her porn-perfect body is a sight to behold as she moves around the battlefield, and her outfits accentuate her curves. Her wardrobe includes skin-tight battle suits and dangerously short skirts, and the camera does a great job of highlighting her remarkable backside. The jiggle physics are on point as well, and the creator of NieR:Automata has admitted that he’s jealous of what Stellar Blade was able to achieve. High praise, indeed.
